SENIOR THESIS:                                           Creating a Time Slicing Effect - GoPro Array Rig & Workflow 

This rig was created for my RIT senior project for Motion Picture Science to achieve a matrix bullet-time effect with both horizontal and interchangeable vertical elements.  It features 14 GoPro Hero 3: Black Edition cameras, a standard tripod mount, hand grips, a neck strap, and is light enough to be a carry-able mobile unit that can be packed away after shooting.  

This rig was featured at the RIT booth for the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

 

TECHNICAL CAMERA SHOOTOUT:                       DSLR DUEL: Canon 5D vs. Nikon D800

This is a video shootout between the Canon 5D Mk II and the Nikon D800. We explore each aspect of the camera including: Dynamic Range, MTF, Color, Exposure Latitude and Noise. Who will win the epic showdown?
